  4. (4) (a), (b), (c) are true but (d) is false .

Solution.

CBSE answer: (2)

Answer: (2) (a), (b) and (d) are true but (c) is false

  1. Boys =5+4+11=20= 5+4+11 = 20, girls =7+3+10=20= 7+3+10 = 20: (a) true.
  2. Black eyes =11+10=21= 11+10 = 21, more than half of 40: (b) true.
  3. Blue eyes =5+7=12= 5+7 = 12, even: (c) false.
  4. Brown eyes =4+3=7= 4+3 = 7, odd: (d) true.
