  1. 36=4×936 = 4 \times 9, so the number must be divisible by both 4 and 9.
  2. By 4: last two digits 92, and 92÷4=2392 \div 4 = 23. True for any xx.
  3. By 9: digit sum 7+2+x+2+9+2=22+x7+2+x+2+9+2 = 22 + x must be a multiple of 9, so x=5x = 5.
  4. 3x+2=15+2=173x + 2 = 15 + 2 = 17.
