Which Ministry has initiated the “Dhara”, a special initiative dedicated to Indian Knowledge System (IKS) ?

  1. (a) The Ministry of Education
  2. (b) The Ministry of Home Affairs
  3. (c) The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting
  4. (d) The Ministry of CultureCorrect answer

Solution.

Answer: (d) The Ministry of Culture

  1. Dhara was initiated by the Ministry of Culture under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
  2. The Ministry of Education’s IKS Division served as an execution partner, which explains why Education is a plausible distractor, but it is not the initiating ministry asked for here.
